Rodarte Spring 2009

Rodarte is one of my current favorite designer. Kate and Laura Mulleavy presented her collection with her artistic sense for Spring 2009. The gorgeous dyed Grecian gowns of Fall returned for Spring, embellished with crystals and in an Olafur Eliasson-inspired palette of violet, orange, white, and blue. Also familiar were the knits, but this time composed of a mélange of materials, including leather and chains, so decayed-looking as to almost defy the label "sweaters." These were worn with the most salable pieces the sisters have ever shown: circular lace-pleated skirts in a shape familiar to any Catholic school student.
It was so beautiful yet magical and of course so Rodarte...

There were a lot of nudes in the beginning of presentation...
I actually don't really love the nude trend, but I do love what they did with the nudes trend.. I especially love the metallic nude skinny pants...

Then there came the black... Black was not boring in this collection because they made it so so edgy...

Lotta dyed dress and this one is my favorite trend... From purple, black, blue and orange, the dyed dress was great for your summertime...

How beautiful!!! At the end of the presentation, they showed the multicolored dyed dress that consisted of black, purple, orange and white colors...

Cole Mohr in Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2009 Show

My most favorite male model, Cole Mohr, walked in Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2009 Show wearing a great jacket with a pair of lovely silver sneakers.... I will talk about the whole show later , but I cant wait to post this photo :)

Camilla wore an oversized plaid coat with black jeans/boots/sunglasses and red bag...

As I said before, I never really liked Jonas' music... But I do love their style, especially Joe's style.

He wore a fabulous black trench with black skinny jeans and checkered shawl..

What I really love is his brown-woody sunglasses... I wanna have one, please...

I love Giselle but I find it hard to believe that it's Giselle. She's so different in this ad and didn't look sexy at all... Maybe it's because of her short hair with a really short bangs...

Michelle Obama for Vogue US March 2009

Our lovely fashionable First Lady of America graces the cover of Americas most influential fashion magazine, Vogue. Michelle was shot by Annie Leibovitz wearing a beautiful magenta silk sheath dress designed by her ball designer, Jason Wu. It was a beautiful cover and I like the way she posed, showing her stunning athletic arms.

Inside the issue there is an eight-page feature devoted to the new First Lady, in which she concedes that her wardrobe is now under intense scrutiny.

"I'm not going to pretend that I don't care about it," she tells the magazine. "But I also have to be very practical. In the end, someone will always not like what you wear - people just have different tastes."

Michelle was allowed to choose her own outfits for the Vogue shoot, which included Narcisco Rodriguez, who also designed that Election Night dress and J. Crew, a label favoured by her children.

"She doesn't need any help [choosing outfits]. She loves fashion and knows what works for her," commented Andre Leon Talley, who interviewed Mrs Obama. "She's never had a conversation with me about, `What do you think?' or `How did this look? And I'm glad for that."

Rihanna Cancels Concert Due to Injuries

Rihanna cancels her concerts in Indonesia, for the second times, due to her injuries.

According to breaking reports, Chris was being investigated in an alleged domestic violence felony battery incident - with insiders claiming that Rihanna was the victim.

According to a report, Rihanna will be traveling back to her homeland of Barbados where she’ll recover from the horrible attack under the care of her friends and family. She is also said to be fully cooperating with the police as the ongoing investigation continues. As for Brown, he was spotted boarding a private plane out of Los Angeles yesterday.

"Chris knocked her around," a source told People magazine. "Black eye, blood, bruises. She had to be treated by a doctor."

Following his arrest, Brown made the $50,000 bail and was subsequently released. He’ll be required to appear in court March 5th to face charges of making a criminal threat.

To celebrate Barbie's big 5-0, Mattel is staging a full-scale runway show. Fifty designers including Anna Sui, Diane von Furstenberg, and Rachel Roy (left) will create looks based on iconic outfits from the doll's archives, with Christian Louboutin supplying the pink patent pumps. And it doesn't end there. Following her NYFW debut, Barbie heads home to Malibu for the grand opening of her Jonathan Adler-designed Dream House. After some R&R, she jets to Paris, where Karl Lagerfeld will open his exhibit on the doll at Colette, and Gareth Pugh and Jeremy Scott will unveil Barbie-inspired capsule collections, also at the store.
