The Best Fall 2010 Haute Couture: Christian Dior

Karlie Kloss opened Christian Dior Haute Couture with the fresh-colored trench coats with flowery details. And the next outfits til the last one is so mind-blowing. The tulips shape skirt and eye-popping color electrified my eyes. And all I can say is: WOW!

Vuitton gets Supermodelized!

Supermodels are back in Louis Vuitton! They are Christy Turlington, Natalia Vodianova and Karen Elson. In this 1950s backstage-inspired set and shot by Steven Meisel, this ads prove that you can be beautiful in any ages.
You see they're 3 supermodels in 3 different era. They're all looking gorgeous as always

Have I Told You that I Love Valentino Spring 2010 CTR?

Don't you just love nude colors mixed with some striking colors? Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli had once again made me fall in love with Valentino Couture . Their works are fabulous as their Spring 2009 collcetions. Kudos to them!

I like Hermes ads for the very 1st time!

I love Hermes handicrafts, but I never love its runway works or its ads. So this is the first time I love Hermes ad campaign. Photographed by Palo Roversi and featuring Constance Jablonski, this ads focusing on the night time girl with a men-inspired clothing. Kudos to Hermes!

Hey Ya'll!!

It's been a while since I wrote in this blog. I miss writing a lot!! and the first picture I'd like to post is .... COCO ROCHA's wedding picture!!!

I think she looked heavenly beautiful in her wedding gown designed by the talented Zac Posen. Coco and her-now-husband were married in a french castle. It's like wedding in a fairy tale!

“Robert and I work closely with Coty on these projects, and he said, ‘Marc, you look so great now — you should be the model for men’s fragrance.’ My immediate reaction was, I don’t know. But then I came to see that it made sense. Men’s fragrance, unlike women’s in a certain way, is very personal. It’s a layer on top of skin — for women, it can be like changing a makeup color, but not for men.”

As for the ad itself, Jacobs credits photographer Juergen Teller for the vision.

“Once I agreed to be the model, I couldn’t see what I would wear to express this. We tried it with clothes, but it didn’t work. Then Juergen [Teller, who shot the campaign] had the idea for the silver Mylar, and it all came together. The silver Mylar also gives it that flash, that bang.”

And in case you were wondering, Jacobs and the team at Coty have also shot a couple less salacious campaigns for the midwestern states and Middle East.
